Ai CC - set default font

(Windows 8.1 user)

I would like the font to be the same whatever the profile I open.

Myriad really is not right at all for me.

I have looked at a range of solutions and they all are confusing.

Here is a path that is supplied in solutions: C:\Users\guycruls\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Illustrator 21 Settings\en_GB\x64\New Document Profiles

There's a whole raft of docs in there - Art & Illustration.ai, Mobile.ai etc.

Am I supposed to change them one by one to have one font apply in all???

Surely there is a way to set the default font for all environments?

Hi guy.cruls,

That is not a default feature available in Illustrator. You still can do it with the workaround suggested in the link shared by Bahaar. That is a workaround at the moment to get your desired font as a replacement across the app.
