Alt+ Scroll is zooming in and out too much in a single touch in Illustrator v27.3 on Windows

I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to provide you with an update on this issue we have been experiencing with Illustrator update v27.3.

Our product team has made an attempt to address the issue in the prerelease build v27.3.1_629. Would you all mind trying the prerelease build and letting us know if the issue has been resolved for you?

To join the Illustrator prerelease program, please follow these steps:

1. Click on this link (www.adobeprerelease.com/)
2. Go to the "Available Program" section to join the Illustrator prerelease.
3. Accept the Prerelease agreement.
4. Install the Prerelease build v27.3.1_629 by closing Illustrator and going to the Creative Cloud Desktop app > Prerelease section under apps > click on install. Please note that this will not replace the existing installation of the Release build of Illustrator.

Same here as well, really impacts my workflow, as I constantly use alt+scroll.

Yeah that Alt+mousewheel zoom is completely unusable – Mac user here. I had to revert back to a previous version of Illustrator which proved to be a f*`"ing nightmare since all my settings were broken and reset to default. I'm trying to work here. Super p*`"ed.

Hello Adobe community, I've googled to no avail.

Today Illustrator just decided to have an unpredictable zoom from 0% to 4000%, 3% to 1600% etc, you get the picture. This happens when I use my mouse wheel + alt which its what I always use. Its really slowing my workflow and have been using the Zoom tool (shortcut "z") which I really do not prefer!

Ive checked my mouse settings and it should be working normally, it was working fine last time. I've been using a Wacom tablet recently, however, it was already zooming in and out like crazy before connecting it.

I appreciate any tip to fix it. Thank you.

We are able to replicate the issue in-house and have logged a bug with our product team. We're currently working on a fix and will keep you updated on the progress.

In the meantime, would you all mind upvoting the UserVoice (https://illustrator.uservoice.com/forums/601447-illustrator-desktop-bugs/suggestions/46335589-mouse-...) to help us prioritize the issue and stay tuned for updates?

As a temporary solution, you may roll back to the previous version (v27.2), where the mouse wheel zoom works fine.

Yup, Zoom is definitely broken and almost impossible to work with, I had to roll back to last version so I can actually work.

Esta nova versão apresenta alguns outros probleminhas também, tais como seleciocar o texto mas não abrir as propriedades de texto. Aparentemente ficou menos flúido, mais pesado o programa...

O zoom usando o ATL + Botão de Rolagem do Mouser está descontrolado ! Eu senti uma dificuldade de usar o Image Trce também, não está saindo perfeito como saía (em ícones mais simples). Fica resquícios do fundo ao excluir o fundo branco usando Select > Same > Fill Color. Não seleciona todos os branco para exclusão !
