Anchor points showing while using shape builder

Hey,

I accidently turned on anchor points somehow while using shape builder and now I can’t get them to go away. I still want the edges, just not the anchors. I get the view I want when I hold down ctrl… but then I can’t use the shape builder. It makes it really hard to see what I’m doing.

Any solutions?

I've tried all of the anchor preferences and shape builder tool preferences... nada.

Screenshot of the view when shape builder selected (showing anchors):

And the view I want (when ctrl is held):

Cheers,

Adam

In the Selection & Anchor Display section of the Illustrator preferences there is an option called Show Anchor Points in Selection Tool and Shape Tools.

Disabling that option should do what you want.

Hi, Adam. It's the default for the anchor points to show. You can hide them by choosing View >  Hide Edges. (Ctrl+h Win or Command+h Mac).
