Application freezes on Copy and Paste

It takes too long for me to copy and paste objects in Illustrator. and not in all files, but some specific files are revealed; there is too much time spent copying and pasting, and there is one problem displayed when I open the file. I've shared some screenshots of the errors with you below.

Thanks for the update! Could you please confirm the version of Illustrator you're currently using and share your operating system details? Also, do you remember which version of Illustrator was used to originally create the affected file?

To rule out any user account-specific issues, please try testing the same file in a new local admin user account and let us know if the issue still occurs. Here’s how you can create one:

Also, it would be really helpful if you could share a short screen recording showing the slowness and the steps you’re performing when the issue appears. Thanks so much for sharing the file and the video.

I was able to download the file, but I'm encountering the same error message on my end while trying to open it. Just to narrow this down a bit: were you previously able to open this file without issues, or did this problem start recently? 

I've shared the file with the team for further investigation and will keep you posted as soon as I hear back from them.

It looks like you reported a similar problem in March, did you share the files with Adobe as mentioned in the message?

Yes! I already shared in March. But this is a fresh file with the same error. I've shared another file with you.

 

  • However, there are uploading errors shown. The file cannot be uploaded as an attachment. Please check and let me know what I should do to share it with you.
