Artboard Label Gibberish

When I rename artboards in Illustrator, the workspace label turns to gibberish while the name in the Artboards panel is fine. It just looks like lines and numbers. Does anybody know how to fix this annoying issue? It's only happening with the artboards, no other text. My application is completely up-to-date. Thanks in advance!
