The menu has apparently changed. I don't see a Select > Same Fill Color. Trying to find the equivalent.

I am using a drawing from Adobe stock images. I want sections to be different colors and stroked. But if I select by color, I sometimes get only that portion of color on an overlapping object. I have people climbing stairs and using the magic wand, I click on the portion of a leg (distinct color) on the stair is selected only. I click on the top of the body (same color) and only the portion not overapping the stair is selected. Help!

As an alternative, you can use the magic of Generative Recolor and transform the hues/colors in your artwork with text prompts or sample themes.
