Hello, I've got a file in Illastrator - only vector graphics with transparencies, canvas size is 2400x200mm. I need to print it as tiled PDF - 8 tiles 3000x2000mm each, 24000x2000mm in sum.

I try to print it scaled 1000% and tiled as PDF:

1) I pritn it as PDF from Illustrator. It doesn't print, I get error.

2) I export it as EPS, open in Actobat Pro and print enlarged and tiled - it does not print, I get error.

3) I export it as PS from illustrator, and convert to PDF in Distiller. It works, but every time some parts of image disapear (see image as example)

What can I else try to do? Thanks

PS. I've got Win10 and all the latest adove software versions from cc.

Maybe you should print them small tiled and print them scaled later.

Since transparency is involved you may want to use Object > Flatten Transparency first before printing (make sure you make a copy of the unflattened file first).

Use the Acrobat Distiller PPD to generate the PostScript:

Save as PDF errors and issues in InDesign, Illustrator (Mac OS)

Thanks, it seems to work. First I print it tiled as PS without scailing, then convert it to PDF with Distiller, then open each page in Illustrator and save it 10x scaled as PS again, and then convert each page with Distiller to PDF again... takes too long, but seems to work )
