Cant edit pattern in pattern option

I want to make some different pattern in CC2015, but after I have drawn a shape with the pen tool and choose "basic graphic lines" and then opens the "pattern option", Im not able to change the patteren color etc.

Is there any settings that needs to be turn on/off to be able to do this?

does it happen just with this pattern or with all ones?

Looks like a bug.

I'm not pretty sure but you can try to select the pattern's elements in the Layer panel (expand the pattern group and select the lines). May be, this could help?
