Continued Crashes and difficulty saving

Hello all,

Illustrator has been consistently unresponsive on startup, and when I have been able to open files, they freeze upon attempting to save. The issue began yesterday when attempting to paste icons from Illustrator into InDesign. 

 

Troubleshooting I've tried. 

  • Uninstalling and Reinstalling the latest version.
  • Uninstalling and Reinstalling the previous version (28.3) (preferences were deleted each time)
  • Increasing the time between auto saves from 2 minutes to 5 minutes. 
  • Restarting.

Processor 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-12700H, 2300 Mhz, 14 Core(s), 20 Logical Processor(s)

Installed Physical Memory (RAM) 32.0 GB

Total Virtual Memory 47.7 GB

Intel Iris XE Graphics 

Nvidia RTX A2000 8 GB GPU

Have you tried using the Creative Cloud Cleaner tool? It can fully wipe all traces of an existing Adobe app installation so it can be cleanly re-installed.
