Cut and paste Excel graphs to Illustrator results in double sized graphs

When I cut and paste Excel graphs to Illustrator everything in the graphs is doubled in size, including fonts and strokes. Did anyone have the same issue? Any solution?

    • In Excel, when you choose Copy as Picture from the Home tab,

    Thanks all for youre replies. I would like to copy and paste as a vector, preserving the features of the graph. I am using MacOS 10.13.6, Illustrator 23.0 and Excel 16.17.

    If you tell us the versions of Excel and Illustrator and your exact workflow then maybe someone can tell you if they know this.
