default RTL writing in illustrator cc 2019

Hi.

I have illustrator cc 2019 on my computer, and I want to set RTL writing default.

now I have on another computer illustrator cs6 and there there is simply another set of type tools for RTL.

Is there any way I can do that in cc 2019?

I just had the same problem but I solved it.

1- First make sure to choose (English - يدعم العربية) from Preferences in Adobe Creative Cloud.

2- Uninstall Adobe illustrator - by clicking to the small arrow near the program name inside Adobe Creative Cloud.

3- Quit Adobe Creative Cloud.

4- Re-open Adobe Creative Cloud.

5- Install Adobe Illustrator again.

On what I understood from you, that you have a Middle Eastern version of Illustrator but you want to set Arabic as your default language along with RTL options too, am I correct?

Below are two topics which this matter was discussed before, although we were discussing the change of Default language to be English in the Middle Eastern version.

What worries me though, is you may not have a Middle Eastern version of 2019. Just check your Paragraph Panel to see if you have RTL paragraph direction options
