Draw inside don't work

- and he shows me that you can "Draw inside".

- It is inside the film when you are at  22.53 minutes,   in the film.

But this tool does not work on my Illustrator 2024? why??

Please select the object that you want to draw inside and open Window > Appearance and take a screenshot of that.

@Ton Frederiks  this was very tricky! So you can not group anything before you can use this button "Draw inside"

Good to hear that helped. When it is a group it is difficult to know which part of the group must be used to draw inside.

And check in the Layers panel if it is a Clipping Mask.
