DXF File defining points

I have a dxf file which has too many anchor points. It makes it very difficult for the laser cutting company to laser cut the metal. I tried to simplify the image to reduce the anchor point, however, when I try to open up the image with Fusion 360, it cannot define some anchor points. Illustrator removes some anchor points when I use simplify. What I am trying to do is reducing the anchor points to define the object since it is easier for the laser cut machine to cut the metal if there are less defining points, at the same time, I want to keep the necessary defining points such as 'T' corners in the image so that it can be laser cutted. I would appreciate a lot if someone could help me with this issue. Thank you so much...
