Fonts are not showing when opening file, shows fine in preview

Illustrator 29.7.1

 

In some recent update, fonts are not being rendered in my art.   The layer that contained the fonts are still there, but everything is gone.   This was working fine ~6/2025 with no changes to the files.

 

In the preview landing page of illustrator, all the same docs are still showing the rendered text without a problem.    Please fix this bug ASAP!

The team mentioned that the fix is rolled out in our latest Beta build 30.0.0.48. Please try the build and share your observations in the comments on the Uservoice.

Where do you save your files, is it a local .ai file or a cloud doc: .aic?

There were some mentions lately with cloud files. And these are real live fonts, not converted to outlines?

Correct...  the font is still on my machine and enumarates fine in the Text Tool Property dialog.   I imagine if they were converted, then I would at least still have the outlines on the layer, in this case, the layer is completely empty.   Its almost like Illustrator had an error / failure and just bailed, but for whatever reason, the thumbnail is OK

Estou tendo o melhor problema: mesmo com as fontes instaladas o illustrator não reconhece. Tive que instalar uma versão anterior para resolver o problema até solucionarem isso, pois parece que muitos estão tendo esse problema com as fontes.
