Fonts, EPS and PDF files are getting pixelated?

for some reason whenever I open an EPS or PDF file or use a font it creates a weird pixelated inline as shown in the pictures. I don't know what to do to fix this as it is messing with my program and my work. does anyone know a solution for this?
