Generate Vector not working in Illustrator 2025

I'm trying to use the Generate Vectors (Beta) In Adobe Illustrator 2025.  I can load it and type in whatever I want, when I click generate it brings up a loading bar and tip as if it's generating soemrhing but then my box remains blank.  I've previously used it with no issue so seems to be since having the 2025 update.  I'm having this issue with Gen Shape Fill (Beta) too.  Has anyone else experienced this and is there a fix which can be suggested please?  Thanks

Hi Anubhav, thank you for replying!  

 

I'm using Illustrator 2025 V29.0 and an HP Elitebook running windows 10.  I didn't have the option to do a screen recording on the laptop (It's a work laptop and they restrict me downloading things) so recorded on my phone, sorry if it's poor quality.  You can see it tries to generate but then nothing happens.  I also tried pressing the the Alt/Ctrl and E keys but it brought up Export so not sure if that was what you wanted.  A short while after I had an error message pop up, not sure if this is related to the Generate Vectors not functioning.

Thanks for sharing the details. Would you mind trying to manually reset Illustrator's preferences and checking if it helps:

 

For Windows

- Close all Adobe applications.

- Go to Location C:\Users\%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Roaming\Adobe

- Rename Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Illustrator 29 Settings folders to Adobe Illustrator.old and Adobe Illustrator - 29 Settings.old

- Relaunch Illustrator from Creative Cloud

 

Disclaimer: Please note that renaming preferences folders will remove all the custom settings, and Illustrator will launch with default settings. You can also save a backup of the folders, the location of which is mentioned above.


If the problem persists, try installing Illustrator 2024 (https://adobe.ly/3YBvsJt) and share your observations.

Hi, thank you I tried all of the above. 

 

Manually resetting preferences didn't help, so I downloaded Illustrator 2024.  It attempts it on this version but then brings up the red error message box saying "We're experienceing high demand.  Please wait and retry your prompt soon.  Thank you for your patience".

 

I have waited and tried a few times now with no luck.  Any more suggestions I can try please?

It doesn't matter what props. It happens with all of them. it didn't used to be this way, use to work no prob. I don't know if it's because we upgraded to 2025?

Hi Harshika.
Thank U for replayed.

- Illustrator 29.5.1 and Photoshop 26.6.1
- MacOS Sequoia - version 15.4.1
That happen with all files and yes, I tried many times to use that function but always "is wrong" for something.
Actually, I desintalled the programs and installed again.

Could you try the following steps to check if they help:

> Close all Adobe apps
> Open the Creative Cloud Desktop application
> Sign out of the Creative Cloud Desktop application, and then sign back in using your Adobe ID. During the sign-in process, you will be prompted to choose your Personal/Teams profile. Choose your Teams/Enterprise profile.
> Relaunch Illustrator.

Hi, While helpful for new tech users, we've all tried this it is the first step to troubleshooting. "Turn it off and back on" hasn't worked for about two or three years and neither has the live session via chat support. I could barely get on with a human (not AI chatbot) and when I did they 'hung up' on me. Still having this issue in 2025.
