How do I convert an AI file to .dst format?

I made an illustration for a client and they told me that the printer can't use the AI file. They need a .dst file.

    Good morning,

    I did a quick Google search and found this [Convert ai to dst - Find any file converter].  This page offers two solutions that conver .AI files to .DST.  Hopefully this helps.

    That might be perfect if the original poster had wanted a DST converted to an AI. Sadly, they wanted the other way round.

      File-extension site isn’t a converter. It’s giving information about extensions which are incredibly expensive and hard to learn.

      I think it’s much better to get work done from a digitizer than buying expensive software and spending enough time for learning.

      I always use these guys https://zeedigitizing.com  for my embroidery need. May be helpful for you guys

        The digitiser has paid the thousands of dollars for the software and has training and experience. This is good advice. People want to find free software to replace a human expert, but you get what you pay for.

          If you get something for free then you're definitely not getting what you paid for... OP wanted a file converted, not built from scratch.
