How to add stroke to Underline or strike through text?

When i add stroke to texts to with different colors and stroke weight either direct or through apperance panel it is working fine with the texts. But the stroke is not adding to the Underline or strike through, the Underline color and the stroke weight is not changing, Any option to do it s?. I have attached an example for better understanding. Please check and provide some solutions.

Instead of a stroke, you can add another fill and use the Offset Path Effect:

What settings do you have at the character level. DOUBLECLICK on the word characters here to see.

Appears you may have a fill of yellow at character level that needs to be set to none, to not confuse what is going on.

HI

First step, select the text with the selection tool (not with the Type tool)

Second step: open the graphic style panel and apply the first one

now you can use the appearace pannel to control fill and stroke
