How to adjust application's resolution?

I don't know if I could call this "application's resolution", but I'm very having trouble with it.

the icon and menus are too big.

It's quite an eyesore and uncomfortable to working.

This problem occurs only in illustrator.

same resolution in photoshop.

icons' size is almost half of AI's

How could I resolve this problem??

plz help.

Hi Hyojeong,

In addition to Cari, did you try adjusting the preferences in Illustrator (if you are using both apps on same display)?

It almost seems as if one is displayed on a High Resolution/Retina display and the other isn't.

I can mimic the behaviour if I open Illustrator on a standard VGA display and Photoshop on a Retina display.

Are you displaying Illustrator and Photoshop on the same monitor? Or are you using two different monitors? If you are using different monitors then the issue is likely related to the resolution for the monitor you are displaying the application on.
