How to deactivate/ disable / turn off Contextual Task Bar in Illustrator

How can I deactivate the Contextual Task Bar of my illustrator, it is annoying to be looking at it floating there for me it is annoying I should see an option to deactivate or activate to the user's liking

It will not reappear unless you have to reset preferences. I know that, because I have turned it off that way.

Does not work for me, it still reappears every time I paste something new into the document. Two years later v29.5.1 still has the bug.

Could you share more details, like the version of the OS installed, and a small screen recording of your settings, and your exact workflow, so I can better assist you?
Also, try running Illustrator under a different administrator account (Windows / macOS) and share your observations.

Thank you, here's a screenshot of the dialog box that plagues me. Hide bar does not work, it just shows up again once I do the next task. MacOS Sequoia 15.5, settings screenshot included as well

How can I make it appear? I do Wondow > Contextual Bar and it doesn't appear.

Select something with the selection tool (black arrow) does not work?

The pencil tool soften contextual bar not only appears even if I uncheck the Windows> Context Bar , it appears IN THE CENTER of the screen.

Please correct this as soon as possible or at least pin it like Photoshop. It´s incredibly annoying.

(Does your development teams for different tools not exchange features?)
