How to have a specified distance of 0.1px when using the Blend Tool

Hi all,

I am currently using Illustrator v 27.9 and when using the blend tool I am able to choose a specified distance of 0.1px. A friend is using the same version of illustrator, but cannot choose a specified distance lower than 1px.

What setting does my friend need to change to be able to choose a distance of 0.1px?

Your friend probably needs to turn off Snap to pixel.

Are you creating long shadows/black shadows? Because then a blend might give you headaches in output (if you output to anything other than pixels)
