How to modify copies of transform effect? (CC2020)

Hi,

How do copies now work for the transform effect in Illustrator CC 2020?

The original menu to type in the numbers of copies are gone (see screenshot).

When I click the new "copy button" and manually paste with CTRL+D, modifications e.g. soft arches of the corners do not apply to the duplicates. No matter whether they are grouped.

I'm trying to duplicate this effect here: tutorial

Thanks in advance!

Correct answer Doug A Roberts

The Transform effect window, and the 'copies' field, is identical in AI 2020 to previous versions.

Are you sure you're looking at the Transform effect (Effects > Distort & Transform > Transform), and not the Object menu's transform functions? The latter have a 'Copy' button.

That was exactly right, thanks a lot for pointing out my mistake that quickly! 🙂
