How to paste mathematical equations to illustrator?

Hello,

I'm trying to copy math equations from power point to Ai but i'm not getting accurate results

This is on of the equations i'm trying to copy:

is there a way for Ai to  identify the equations as text?

No, there isn't. I believe there's a plug-in for such stuff directly in AI, but otherwise you would need to export a PDF, SVG, PNG or whatever from PPT. If you do this a lot, you may consider switching to Mathematica or LaTex and use their math layout tools which can actually produce proper AI data and files.

Thanks, i will try that... i was hoping for a more time saver solution tho since i have a lot of these equations to work with

for a company so huge and succesful to make people on earth keep throwing money at them like adobe, i think this feature should be present, planned and considered. or at least let editor on their inDesign do that (if Ai aimed for illustration only)
