How to pucker and bloat an oval and without distorting the bloats

Apologies, I'm not sure I know precisely how to explain what I mean so I'm hoping my photos will help.

I would like to either bloat an oval (and/or make a starburst so I can round the points) that looks like the middle and right hand ovals in pic one. The 'bloats' are all uniform whereas when I am bloating an oval the 'bloats' are not uniform, my oval is the purple one, you can see it looks stretched and this isn't what I want.

Can anyone help me with this please, thanks so much?

Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out. I found a helpful video tutorial for you to create this artwork, which you can refer to. It's just that the designer didn't use Bloat or Pucker Tool. You can check out the tutorial here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=szYMeI3T914.
