How to remove the Acumin Variable Concept Font

OK, SO I HAVE SEEN A FEW POSTS ON THIS AND NONE OF THE REMEDIES WORKED. IVE GONE INTO THE RESOURCE FOLDERS IN INDESIGN, I CHECKED EVERY FONT FOLDER, AND STILL I CAN NOT FIND THIS FONT TO GET RID OF. ANYONE HAVE ANY LUCK?

This font is part of the Illustrator application. I anm afraid that if you remove it, it will come back with the next update.

Ton is correct. This font is installed on your machine with the Illustrator application, and you can find it under Support Files > Required > Fonts in the Illustrator application folder. May I ask why you want to remove this font?

In my case, upon saving AI files, when I reopen them, each letter/glyph is suddenly out of the text box and appearing as a separate element on the artboard. Half my text (also Acumin) is fine, but the other half is doing this. I noticed it happening in half my files I worked on yesterday. Seems to be no way to fix it..

Are you sure you saved them as AI files? And not PDF?
