Hello friends,

How would I build this white and black pattern in illustrator? (note I am completely, new to illustrator)

    There's so many ways to do things in Illustrator. I would have used the Perspective Grid.

    But you can't make an isometric grid with the perspective grid.

    I have managed to do everything except for the black arrows, how would I build those?

    But the smart guides won't work, I cant get them on the exact correct position. I have followd the smart guides but they don't click where I want them to, what am I doing wrong?


    You will need a grid.

    (But unfortunately your "image" wasn't correctly created in a grid.)

    And one note: a 45° grid is IMO not the best choice for an isometric grid.
