Illustrator 2023 not responding

Hi community! Has anyone else experienced a similar issue with the new 2023 illustrator in which when I go to launch the application, I create a file/workspace but then the application just freezes and displayes the colorful loading circle. I work off of a M1 Macbook Pro.

Is Illustrator listed and checked active under Apple System Preferences/Security and Privacy/Full Disk Access?

I'm having the same problem! Tried deleting and reinstalling and restarting my computer but no luck

Which system is it?

Did you already reset the preferences? Run the Adobe Cleaner tool between uninstall and reinstall?

DId this just start to happen? There was an update very recently and did you already reset the preferences afterwards? Of course do also try and reboot the computer.

 

Resetting the prefefences erases all your settings, so you might want to rename the folder, becasue that can be undone incase it doesn't help.
