Illustrator (multiple versions) freezing on macOS Catalina. Error: Unable to reach Adobe Servers.

Hi all,

 

I have an issue with adobe illustrator where it freezes, and never gets back no normal, once i open and click on anything. So every time I have to force quite and this makes me unable to use it!

I've tried several versions and they're all the same issue. I tried Ai V 23.1.1 and V 24.01 2019 and my MacOS system is Catalina V15.10.

I really need Illustrator to work on my assignmet.

Sorry to hear about this. I am hopeful that the issue was fixed. If not, could you check and confirm if the other Adobe applications are working or not?

So this happens when opening files?

Did you already try and reset the preferences? (This will erase your settings)

 

Is a printer connected? Illustrator needs a printer.

Can you create new files?

Hello Monika,

Thank you for your reply.

It happen both when I open a file or just openingAi itself. and I already tried reseting the preferences by holding cmd+alt+shift while the app is launching but this either didn't work.

However, I do not know about the printer issue.

I can create a new file, however, Illustrator freezes either way.

 

Also this is another issue- Ai either freezes or quits by itself showing me this window before quitting:

Even though I am connected to the internet, and I did try the solution in this link: https://helpx.adobe.com/mena_en/download-install/kb/cannot-verify-subscription-offline-mode.html

but the problem still ocuures.

They can login to your system.
