Adobe Community Professionals

Tony Harmer Chief Enchantments Officer at Wizardry Ltd. Tony Harmer (a.k.a The Design Ninja) is a creative Swiss-army-knife and learning-content author with a three-plus-decade career that has given him a broad experience base to draw upon including some time as a press operator, several years as a concept artist in IP development, several more as an instructor in many applications, delivering graphic production training worldwide, and a few more as a specialist solutions consultant for Adobe. He is the author of several video tutorials on LinkedIn Learning as well as running a growing channel on YouTube. Tony is a popular speaker/presenter and his often-off-the-wall sessions always provide a ton of tips, techniques, insights and inspirations delivered with humour and enthusiasm that is totally infectious.

Tony in his own words:

Tony_wacky_SQ.jpgI've been an Illustrator user for 25 years and have authored many courses for LinkedIn Learning (formerly Lynda.com) helping many people get started with Illustrator and develop their skills. I have over 376,000 active learners on my "Illustrator Essentials" courses and 1.7 million active  learners across all of my courses. I've been an illustrator and designer for almost 40 years and have worked with Adobe for many years, on staff as well as a contractor.   🙂

My YouTube channel has a weekly Ai stream that usually goes out on a Friday ( at 12 PM UK time). It demonstrates  drawing techniques in Adobe Illustrator.

Behance Live Stream Updates

Jack Watson is a UI/UX Designer at Blackbird Digital with an experience of over 10 years in medical illustration and educational publishing. She has recently hosted some great livestream sessions on Behance. You can follow her on social media or by subscribing AdobeLive.

Jack in her own words:

I am Jack, a senior UI/UX designer in Cleveland, Ohio fueled by coffee and donuts. I started out as a medical illustrator, spent some time as an animator, and eventually landed in UI/UX design. I like to think of myself as a visual problem solver above all other titles. The 10 years of experience I have in medical illustration and educational publishing informs the decisions I make as a UI/UX designer, by understanding how people learn. As much as I love solving design problems, I also love weaving stories into my designs through animation and illustration. My tools of choice are the Adobe apps on my desktop and iPad, a pencil, paper, and my brain. I also enjoy experimenting with animation, specifically CSS animations using art from Illustrator. My degree is a BFA in Biomedical Art, which means I studied art, design, and animation, as well as things like human biology, microbiology, anatomy and physiology, genetics, and population biology. My unique skills and experience have helped me mentor other creatives both through live streaming on Behance, and providing feedback and help for the Adobe Illustrator Creative Challenges. Additionally, I’m a part of a small group of incredible individuals called the Art Squad, which organizes weekly virtual meetups and occasional collaborative projects together.
