Increase decrease leading shortcut not working in Illustrator

Hello, previously the keyboard shotcut to increase or decrease leading worked fine (Alt+up/down). For a while, not only has it stopped working, but I can no longer find the place to change it in the menu of shotcut keyboards ...

Does anyone have a solution?

Thanks

Hi, I amk still having this issue, have been accepting it for years now. Where do you mean this is fixable, are you in Keyboard shortcuts, or?

Hello @Mads Jakob Poulsen,

Would you mind changing the size/leading under the type preferences in Illustrator to see if it helps?

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Thanks,

Anubhav

Check Preferences:

  • Go to Edit > Preferences > Type (Windows) or Illustrator > Preferences > Type (Mac).

  • Locate the Kerning or Tracking setting, which controls the incremental change for the arrow key shortcuts.

  • If this value is set to 0, the shortcuts will have no effect, so increase the value.

Decreasing or increasing the leading with the Alt key + arrow up/down or Alt-Cmd key + arrow up/down still works fine here in the most recent Illustrator version (26.3.1 on Mac OS 12.4).

Looks like an InDesign shortcut.

I don't think that's possible without having an item in the Shortcuts list.
