Hi Anubhav M, I am having the same problem. I have macOs Catalina and I can't find a version that will work on my computer. I Uninstaller the 2020 version I had on my computer and tried to reinstall it and it wouldn't work. Can you please help me also,  thanks.

I reached out to Adobe, and they were able to send over a link to an older
version of illustrator that's compatible with Catalina.

If you go to your Creative Cloud account and click on the 'live chat' area,
just ask to speak to an agent. They should be able to hook you up.

You should know that Illustrator CS5 is not supported for either High Sierra on a Mac or Windows 10 on a PC one of which is what your new computer will have installed. There have been many posts on this forum that CS5 Illustrator has become unusable since recent Windows 10 updates. On a Mac some people have been able to run this version but there is no guarantee at all that it will work on High Sierra. With a new computer it is strongly recommended to get a Creative Cloud subscription and use the most recent version.

Thanks for reaching out. Would you mind sharing version of OS?

Adobe is curently providing CC2020 and CC2019 app downloads only. Any version perior to CC2019 is not available or supported.

I'd recommend upgrading your machine if your system does not meet these requirements. Hope it helps.

Hey team,

I just signed up for Adobe Illustrator and downloaded Creative Cloud naturally - however, my mac OS is Mojave and therefore the latest version of Illustrator is not compatible. I'm not willing to update my OS past Mojave as it will massively slow down my computer (as experienced), but how does one install an older version of Illustrator? It doesn't seem possible on the CC.

Hi. When you view an app to download in the Creative Cloud Desktop app, look at the "All Apps" section. At the right hand side of each screen, there's an ellipses (mine are installed, but yours should look the same, with the option TO install). Inside the dropdown on that ellipses, you'll find an option to view (and install) older versions.

Thanks for reaching out. I am afraid macOS 10.11.6 is not compatible with the available versions of Adobe Illustrator(2020 & 2021). We'd recommend updating your macOS in order to use the latest versions of Adobe Illustrator.
