Dear Community,
I wonder if it's possible to paste a 4 pages long text at once so it would be distributed on multiply pages in Illustrator automatically?
Or the only option would be to split it myself into 4 parts and paste it 4 times?
Looking forward to any tips!
With best regards,
Gera
You can create threaded text frames.
Just create boxes on several artboards, select them all, makes them into threaded text frames (Type > Threaded Text > Create), then paste your text into that.
You might want to consider using InDesign. It would be the better app for layout purposes

Oh you're totally right! Do you maybe know how to solve this problem in InDesign? I'm afraid I don't know the solution for InDesign eather..
Best regards,
Gera

You will need to set up a master page with an initial text frame and when placing the text, press the SHift key.
Here is a set of tutorials that should get you started: Add text |

You do not need to set up a master page with an initial text frame on it in InDesign.

However, the mere fact that you are building a document with text linked across four pages does not necessarily mean it would be more appropriate to build it in a page-layout app.
Countless "four pager" whole-document brochures (single sheet, printed both sides, folded once) are more efficiently built in a drawing program than in a page-layout program because they often tend to be graphics-intensive and do not have repetitively looksame layouts. In such brochures, a page-layout program brings little benefit to the table, whereas having most (or all) of the graphic content native to the program is more convenient.
