Is there a way to drag the mouse to select multiple multiple layers in the LAYERS panel?

I'd like to be able to select multiple layers in my layers panel by dragging the mouse over the layers instead of having to shift+click in each layer. Is there anyway to do this?

Thanks,

Paul

Select one layer and then shift click the ending layer to select the range of layers.

You may have actually meant selecting the contents of the layers which unfortunately you cannot do. You can lock layers  you do not want to select and use select all, is the best I can advise.

Yeah, I was hoping I could drag over the little dots on the side and select layer content as I dragged like you can with locking layers, but I guess not. Locking the other layers sounds like the way to go. Thanks for the help.

In a previous version (10 or 15 years ago?), there WAS a way to drag across the layer names to select them. I don't recall if it was (OPTION + drag) or (CTRL + drag), but I would certainly love to have that shortcut again. (Time to submit a feature request!)

Click the first target symbol and then press Shift and click the last one to select all those objects in a row.
