new document size window margins not aligned

Am I the only one suffering in silence about just how distracted Adobe is these days? The sloppy interface from the very beggining is a huge let down.

Is there anyway the coders could stop producing software while they are drunk... *cough* vert margins *cough*

Or, do we need to be drunk to use this program for it to be acceptable?

I am not sure I understand your friends problem.

You are talking about non aligned margins (Illustrator has no margins) and pointing at the Bleed settings.

They mean the vertical text alignment in the UI, I think. It looks correct to me in 29.3.

Thank you for sharing the screenshot and your observations. I have checked this in Illustrator 29.3 and the latest 29.7 on Windows, and the alignment in the New Document panel appears fine here. Could you please confirm the exact Illustrator version and your OS?

Meanwhile, you can try resetting the UI to see if it resolves the issue. To do this, first close Illustrator and rename the following folders:

• Rename the CEP folder to CEP.old
  Mac: /Library/Application Support/Adobe
  Windows: C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe

• If that doesn't help, rename the UXP folder to UXP.old
  Mac: /Library/Application Support/Adobe and ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe
  Windows: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe and C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe

Once renamed, relaunch Illustrator and check if the alignment appears correctly.

Oh, and changing the UXP folder name didn't fix anything.

I have noticed it's not just Illustrator, it's ID, PS and probably more... For pro designer software, this is embarressing... Adobe need to stop with the AI and new fancy functions rubbish, and get their fundementals in order - PRONTO!

Just updated to v29.7.1 - unfortunately, it's looking as amateur as ever... 

I think Adobe should shout the next round of drinks, since every developer there seems drunk - share the booze guys...

I appreciate your enthusiasm and offer to help @Anubhav M, but reaching out achives pretty much nothing as there's never a fix, just more Adobe dribble of "we've sent it to someone else for investigation" - should everyone with a subscription hold off payment until Adobe deliver a working product? My clients won't wait, why should us working designers have to wait on Adobe?
