I have a problem with the opacity tool. I do not use opacity in my files but after saving and exporting the file as jpg then closing the file and re-opening it suddenly some objects (pictures, text, grouped objects) randomly have opacity on it in random amounts. I have to set the opacity for every object separately to 100% again which is really annoying and time consuming. I have no idea why this happens. It can not be a shortcut which I press accidentally because I did not select the random objects before. And I do not know if I can reset the opacity for the whole file.
Does anyone have the same problem? or does someone know how to avoid it? or know an easier way to reset the opacity of random objects and grouped objects?

Opacity can be set at the level of
- stroke/fill
- object
-group
-layer
You can use the Appearance panel to check it. Window > Appearance

Thank you for your help! I already checked all of these and set everything to 100%. But when I re-open the file it is again with opacity set to 50%. This happens everytime I close the file and open it again. So I have to reset it everytime I open the file. I can not find opacity in the file properties. So I don't know why this happens everytime.

Hello @L_2192,
I'm sorry to hear about the trouble you're experiencing. Could you please check if this issue occurs with specific Illustrator files? If so, try copying the layers or objects from the affected file(s) into a new document to see if that resolves the problem.
If the issue persists, kindly confirm your operating system and Illustrator version. Additionally, sharing a brief screen recording of your workflow and the issue would help us assist you more effectively.
Looking forward to your response.

Thank you @Anubhav M for your help! Your suggestion to make a new file and copy the objects in it did not work. It was again with different opacity after re-opening the file. And it keeps doing that everytime.
It does not happen with every file eventhough they are based on the same template. I really have no idea why this happens. Do you know of another approach which I could try?

Hello @L_2192,
Could you check if this happens with files stored in a particular folder location (internal/external/network drive or a cloud-synced folder like iCloud Drive/Google Drive/etc)? Also, kindly share a link to a sample file along with a screen recording of your exact workflow and the problem, so I can replicate this on my end.
Looking forward to hearing from you.

Hello @Anubhav M ,
the files are stored on a network server. I uploaded a sample file and screen recording on WeTransfer for you.
