Placing in specific layer

Community Beginner ,
Sep 10, 2025 Sep 10, 2025

Hello 🙂

Is it possible to make action which will place or paste something into specific Layer  (if i have few of them). I was trying to lock other layers and just leave unlocked the one where i want to paste my objects but its still trying to place it in same layer as it was from begining. I know its possible to make it on scripting but i would like to know if there is possibility to make it in action without scripting

It's possible with an action.

The target layer has to have a dummy object with a note that can be called to activate that layer.

Then, with Paste Remembers Layer turned off, pasting or pasting the clipboard in front should do it.
