Thanks for the advice. But these tips are not suitable, because Illustrator does not crash, after an error, it opens in normal mode and you can work. Only the program does not have the "Text to vector graphic" plugin. I downloaded "Illustrator beta", it loads without error, but there is no "Text to vector graphic" plugin either. This error occurs on two of my computers, under my Adobe account.

This is definitely unusual. Could you please try uninstalling Illustrator and then reinstalling it from Creative Cloud? This might help resolve the problem. Thank you for your patience and cooperation.

Srishti

Thanks for the help, but it didn't help again. I used "Creative Cloud Cleaner" to uninstall Illustrator and reinstall it from "Creative Cloud Desktop". The GenerateUI plugin error did not disappear and “Text to vector graphics” did not appear in the program. Next, following your recommendations, I also updated Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable (2012-2017). It didn't help either.

Hello @Nataliya38363957nh0e,
Thanks for sharing the details. Would you mind trying to manually reset Illustrator's preferences and checking if it helps:
For macOS
• Close all Adobe applications.
• Go to the following locations
• ~/Library/Caches
• ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe
• ~/Library/Preferences
• Rename Adobe Illustrator, com.adobe.illustrator and Adobe Illustrator 28 Settings folders to Adobe Illustrator.old, com.adobe.illustrator.old and Adobe Illustrator 28 Settings.old
• Launch Illustrator from the Creative Cloud.
Note: Location starting with this "~" sign indicates the User Library, which is hidden. So, you need to copy & paste the exact path in spotlight search or from Finder Menu > Go > Go to Folder > Paste the location in the dialog box like this:
For Windows
- Close all Adobe applications.
- Go to Location C:\Users\%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Roaming\Adobe
- Rename Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Illustrator 28 Settings folders to Adobe Illustrator.old and Adobe Illustrator - 28 Settings.old
- Relaunch Illustrator from Creative Cloud
Disclaimer: Please note that renaming preferences folders will remove all the custom settings, and Illustrator will launch with default settings. You can also save a backup of the folders in case you want to. The location is mentioned above.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Thanks,
Anubhav

Hello! I did as you wrote, renamed the folders. But the error remained... I have this error on two of my laptops, and only in Illustator. The rest of the applications work. Windows 11, 64 and windows 10, 64 system. An error occurred during the installation of Illustator 28.5. If you roll back to 28.4.1 there is no error, since this build does not have this plugin. If I install the BETA version, there is no error when loading, but there is no “Text to vector graphics” option in the program itself.

There's a bot in the chat that can't help either. It asks for an error code and offers solutions that we have already tried above.

I have windows 11 installed, the support operator dug into my computer remotely for more than an hour, and it didn't give any results, he told me to do a system restore, but it didn't give me anything either, but try to do it yourself, suddenly you will succeed.

Yes, system restore didn't help me either. It turns out there is no solution to the problem yet.

Reinstalling Microsoft Visual C Redistributable did not help.
I also updated Illustrator to the latest version. The loading error disappeared, but others appeared. When selecting a path, the Contextual Task Bar does not appear. It's included in the menu. But if you enter text, the Task Bar appears. Generative Fill is also not available anywhere.

I'm having a similar issue where Illustrator is not opening anymore. When startinig AI, te loading screen stops at GeneratUI.aip. It then becomes unresponsive and my laptop gets so hot I'm afraid it's going to melt through my desk. This also makes my whole laptop crash so a restart is required. Incredibly annoying... I've tried uninstalling but it doesn't work.

I tried installing Illustrator beta, but this doesn't work either.
I'm in a bit of a pickle now; I'm completely dependant of Illustrator because of my client work... Is this the time to switch to other software?

Do you have any Adobe beta apps installed (particularly video apps)? If so, try and uninstall all the betas. Reboot and try the released versions again.

Praise the lord Monika! 🙌
Uninstalling Media Encoder beta, premiere beta and after effects beta solved the issue.
