I am making 5x7 wedding programs but would like to print two to one page. I need to save them as a pdf to send to the printer. Help! I have tried ignoring artboards but they come out more of a 4x6 size. I am new to illustrator so any help would be much appreciated!

Open your document, hit Shift+O to select the artboards tool. select your working artboard and up top, set your dimensions to 10" H x 7" W. (If your units are not showing up as inches, then hit Comand+R [Cntrl+R] to show rulers and right-click the ruler and check "inches").

Then group your card together and align it to the top and center of your artboard. Option+click & drag your content down below and center align to the bottom of the page.

Hopefully, that will get you going in the right direction.

A word of warning if you are trying to print to the exact page size. If you have any art that bleeds off of the page then you could have a problem since most printers need at least 1/4 inch for their grippers and will leave that area blank. This would be OK if you just have type on a blank background but will be a problem otherwise. Jobs like this are usually done on paper larger than their final size and trimmed on crop marks which would allow for bleed.
