Problem with shifting patterns in SVG files

Hello, I have a problem with shifting patterns in SVG files.

When I preview them in the internet browser they are fine, but when I open them in Illustrator or any Adobe software they shift. I have noticed that in every machine they shift differently.

Can anyone help me?

Thank you very much! its not an ideal option for us unfortunately, are you sure there isn't any other way? Maybe a plugin?

You might try and report it as a bug. https://illustrator.uservoice.com

Maybe it's something that can be fixed.

Or go the long route and try out how your SVG would need to be formatted for it to work. And then code your service in that way.

Don't use SVG as a workfile.

As long as you are still editing, save as AI. SVG is only an export format. You should never get yourself into a situation where you have to open it again.

This is a clipping mask, right? Not a pattern.

OK, so the whole story is that we have an online store where you can design your own project on clothes, and then we make them for you. Its an interactive configurator with a 3D model with you can rotate and edit. The software we are using spits out SVG files, and we can't do anything about it.

It may generate, or open as a clipping mash, but it started as a pattern.

For Illustrator SVG is not a native file format.

You have no influence on how the file will open.

What you can do: open the file in Inkscape - hoping that it works - export is as PDF and then open that in Illustrator.
