Problem with text preview (corrupted with any font)

Hi! After more than 20 years using Illustrator, it is my first time with this issue: text preview is corrupetd with all the fonts. I checked all the recommendations (validating fonts, etc) but nothing is working. Of course I restarted mi Mac, and nothing happens. You can see the error here: https://www.loom.com/share/3c7cbd8babbe44aea174c78576865d1d

Using:

Illustrator 27.2

Mac OS 12.1

Fonts: any! All with error.

Any ideas? Thanks a lot in advance

Javier

Hello @javiers22654603,

We understand that encountering technical issues can be frustrating. I hope the suggestions shared by Met1 helped resolve the problem. If not, kindly try running Illustrator under a different administrator account (https://support.apple.com/guide/mac-help/add-a-user-or-group-mchl3e281fc9/mac) and check if it helps.
If you don't mind, could you please follow the steps and share your observations with us? We appreciate your time and effort in helping us resolve this issue.

Looking forward to your response.

Thanks,

Anubhav

Did you just update Illy, your OS &/or your graphics card?

Have you tried trashing your prefs?

Hi! I think that file was corrupted. I created a new one and worked ok. Thanks!

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post if it helps you get responses.
