I have the same problem. unable to save .ai files. all files, not just some. simple to complex. all the same. i am able to save as .eps. this just started occuring around the last update: 24.0. I've deleted prefs. unistalled, re-installed, etc. ...

It doesn't make a lot of sense to post issues with version 2020 into a thread that covers version 2017.

i’m sorry if that disturbed you, but that was the thread that related most to my problem, and as it didn’t appear to be resolved i added my same issue to it. if you would rather suggest that i start a new thread, i’ll do that next time.

the update appears to have resolved the problem. thanks for that. It would be nice to have the application debugged prior to release. i guess adobe saves a few bucks and has us de-bug it for them.
