Save to Creative Cloud new annoyance

Contributor ,

Not happy with the automatic font activation nastiness, Adobe goes a step forward with its production-damaging features, now inducing you to Save to Creative Cloud by default, by removing the (command+S) shortcut and forcing users to manually click the ‘On your computer’ button. How arrogant is that?

Did anyone find a way to deactivate this absurdity?

Hello @Joanna_Wheelton4229,

Would you mind checking the option for Do Not Show Again when saving files to your computer to see if it helps?

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Good to hear that helped. I would have expected the Auto-activate in the Type preferences, but here it is.

Hi,

New to Creative Cloud, I want to work in Illustrator locally only.  I am seeing this post, and understand that it should be a swift and straightforward action to choose default location, but I don't have "Default File Location" in File Handling options. Please help. Thanks a lot.

Hi Anubhav,

That was easy, thank you so much!  I created a first test file, went to save it, and checked the "Don't show again" box.

Thanks again!
