Has anyone experienced this before ...
every now and then illustrator makes his library a lot smaller ...
Is there an option to keep the library open when al documents are closed ?
Thanks in advance for the feedback and with kind regards
Hello @Peter35570088qv8j,
Would you mind trying the following steps and checking if they help:
- Close all Adobe applications.
- Rename the UXP folder to UXP.old from the following location:
(Windows) Navigate to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\UXP
(macOS) Navigate to Macintosh HD/Library/Application Support/Adobe/UXP
- Relaunch Illustrator
If the problem persists, kindly share more details, like the exact version of the OS/Illustrator and a screen recording of the problem (https://adobe.ly/4hLNj74

Hello Anubhav,
first of all, sorry for the delay... today no symbols or library items were loaded in the library of any adobe application, so i followed your advice and closed all adobe applications, renamed my UXP folder, restarted all adobe applications and at this moment everything is A-OK.
Symbols or library items are loading faster than before, so...
Anubhav, thank you and with kind regards,
Peter
