Hello I'm using Illustrator cc 23.0.1

on windows 10

my keyboard shortcut for ungroup is Ctrl+Shift+G.

however the shortcut only works for me if i press Win+Ctrl+Shift+G

I have never had to press the windows key along with the other keys to ungroup.

This is the first time where I'm having this issue. Any help or advice is appreciated. Thanks.

I am having the same issue too on my Windows10. Before reading this post, I didn't even know that the ungroup hotkey works if I press Shift+Ctrl+Window+G. I tried Shift+Ctrl+Window+G after reading this and I realized it works...But still normal ungroup hotkey Shift+Ctrl+G is not working at all. And I found that the same issue happens on my XD too.

Is this going to be fixed?

It doesn't seem to be an Illustrator issue. More of a particular WIndows issue:

It also seems to be a rather old issue:

I am having this same issue after the update to the 23.0.1 version of Illustrator CC.

I tried it on my Windows 10 laptop and still cannot replicate the issue.

Might be related to strange or even corrupted system settings - I would also ask this question in a Windows focused forum. I have never seen such an issue in this forum.

for now i have ungroup mapped to Ctrl+Alt+G

Illustrator wont even allow me to change it back to Ctrl+Shift+G

This is very weird

I have posted the issue to windows forums as well.

I would look for this on Windows.

Maybe it's a ssetting you need to check in your system. What kind of machine are you using?

I can't replicate this issue. You could try re-starting or try resetting preferences. How to set preferences in Illustrator

I reset preferences. The issue still persists.
