Why are objects on a bottom layer placed above top layers?

Hi,

I have these four layers:

Could someone please tell me why the green shape on the bottom layer hides/covers the layer above? Blend mode is set to Normal.

EDIT: User error. 😞 The Blend mode of one object above the green shape was in fact set to Darken. Sorry, don't know how I missed that.

Argh -- the Blend mode of one object above the green shape was in fact set to Darken instead of Normal.

Sorry about that. 😞

Ugh, sorry again... 🙂

I was kidding. Seriously, I appreciate your telling us that you were able to fix the problem, and how.
