Question

Why are some drawings missing in my pdf-file?

I'm having a problem saving a drawing in Illustrator as a PDF.
Suddenly pieces are missing from the drawing, such as some plants on the grass line and the tree on the far right.
I discussed the problem with my teacher yesterday, but she also doesn't know why.
Does any of you know why some parts of the PDF suddenly disappeared?

Can you perhaps share the original Illustrator file (.ai) and the PDF file?

Hi Kurt

I can't drop the ai.-file here. I just got this error:

  • The attachment's pe affiche - karolien moens.ai content type (application/postscript) does not match its file extension and has been removed.

You will need to use a file sharing site like Dropbox, Creative Cloud or Google and share the link here.

Are they still in the AI file?

Are they on a particular layer?

Can you select one of the objects and show the appearance panel for it?

What PDF settings did you use to export?

Can you open the word-file? I've put some printscreens in it - layers & PDF-settings
