Is Adobe actively trying to lose customers? Serious question. Every single Illustrater update that comes - the app gets worse and worse and less stable. It would actually be a joke if not so serious, I'm on deadlines!!

If you explain your issues in detail, someone might have a solution. This is a public forum with 95% non-Adobe folks answering in their spare time.
In general: turn off automatic update. And then never do an update while working on a tight deadline.

Most [technical] issues I've seen seem to be related to outdated video cards or outdated drivers.
