I tried to open Illustrator, the splash screen appeared for a moment and then disappeared and the application wouldn't open. It keeps doing this and it is very frustrating as I didn't paid money to not be able to use it. I restarted my iPad, uninstalled and reinstalled it, but I still can't open it. Everything is updated. Anyone know what's wrong with it and how to fix it?
Thanks.
Ayano
That is the beta system.
Illustrator does not run on it.

Is your iOS up to the latest version? (16.2 at the time I'm writing this).
Lots of people seeing crashes until they update. See here:

I'm on 17. Crashes all the time. Can't open anything. New file or old. On a new iPad Pro

Wrong it hasn't been a beta system for some time now.

You have looked at the date of that post, right? Maybe do that now?

I am having the same problem and this time iPadOS 17 is NOT a beta system so please don't use that excuse to tell anyone that is the reason why Adobe Illustrator for iPadOS keeps crashing. At least take the complaint seriously and give a real solution. Thanks.

This is a public forum with 95% of people being volunteers. At the time of my reply it still was in beta. There are a couple of newer threads you could search ...

I have searched all the relevant threads and none of them have resolved the issue. Yes I did see the original post was old, however you replied to one that was less than a month old with the same comment about iPadOS still being in beta. Do you have any helpful information since iPadOS has been released to address this issue or not?

Non-Adobe staff only knows what's mentioned in the threads.
You might always contact Customer Care and see if they can help you https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html

I just discovered this, maybe it works?
He said:
This issue seems to happen because of a new setting in iPad OS 17.1 and affects only 12.9 inch (6th Generation) iPad Pro and 11-inch (4th Generation) iPad Pro: they both support Pencil hover (https://support.apple.com/en-in/HT211774), which is not yet supported by Illustrator.
This can be resolved by going to Settings > Apple Pencil and turning off Show Effects.
