Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 Design Premium does not work with Windows 11. I've tried installing on two seperate laptops..a new ASUS and a new MSI...
Gives the same error: We've encountered the following issues:
Installer failed to initialize. This could be due to missing file. Please download Adobe Suppport Advisor to detect the problem.
Doesn't work. Just another money grab by a giant corporation.

It's likely not going to work - the online installation checks were removed some time ago - and it's probably not compatible with Windows 11.

You can find some installation notes for CS5.5
But it's really old - and expecting it to work with really new is probably a very high expectation.

CS5.5 is almost 13 years old and was designed to run on Windows 7. You can try running it in compatibility mode but beyond that why do you think any software company should support any application more than a decade after it was released on hardware and operating systems it was never designed for?
As for it being a money grab, well, what happened to your old computers? Why don't you just keep them?

Bob, are you a bot for Adobe or Windows...maybe both... Why would it work on Windows 10 and not 11? Like Windows 11 is any better or more advanced than Windows 10...most likely, Windows 11 is worst and just more tracking and spyware integrated into everything. Regardless... <personal insult removed>

How rude, to people trying to help you.

You seem bitter over this.
You clearly have no understanding of how software works, and your insults also show you know nothing at all about me, either.

Could be a corrupt or missing file from the install process.
Have you tried, renaming the OOBE Folder to OOBE.old. That forces the software to recreate it.
To find OOBE: 64 bit win OS: Program Files x86\Common Files\Adobe\OOBE
Alternatively, have you tried using the Cloud Cleaner Tool - which also applies to Creative Suites? Then reinstall CS5.5.
