HELP! I have just upgraded to Mac OS Monetery and InDesign 2022 and now im having all sorts of font issues! Most importantly the fonts are active in 'Adobe Fonts' however when i open my InDesign file it says 'Adobe Fonts could not find any matching Fonts' - why is this happening and why hasn't it been fixed already!?!?!

Hi Marianne,

it seems there is a solution described here:

Hi Marianne,

seems that you are not alone. Found this at the Adobe Fonts forum:

Thanks so much for both those links, a big help! Seems its a common problem with the M1 and Monetery upgrade, I really hope they fix this major issue ASAP!

"Also, the 'manage fonts' area on the Creative Cloud desktop app doesn't load at all, it just has a loading wheel that goes around and around so maybe CC desktop app needs a bug fix for the new OS. I really hope they fix this soon!!"

Hm.

You may ask for trouble-shooting this at:

That's bad. Then I'd try an additional step:

Deactivate all fonts from Adobe Fonts.

Log out from the Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop App.

Restart the machine.

Log in again to the Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop App.

Activate all previous deactivated fonts from Adobe Fonts.

Start up InDesign.

I really hope, that this issue is not directly tied to your system upgrade.

Could you go back to the previous version of your system?

That doesn't work either - it is so bad!

The issue is 100% directly tied to the system upgrade as i am also running another Mac which doesn't have Monterey but uses InDesign 2022 (version 17.0.1) and don't have these same issues with the fonts activating!

Also, the 'manage fonts' area on the Creative Cloud desktop app doesn't load at all, it just has a loading wheel that goes around and around so maybe CC desktop app needs a bug fix for the new OS. I really hope they fix this soon!!

Hi Marianne,

I would log out from the Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop App.

Restart the machine.

Log in again to the Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop App.

Then start up InDesign.

Thanks Uwe. That doesn't work, Ive tried even reinstalling the creative cloud desltop app but nothing seems to be working!
